Genesis chapter two tells us that from the dust of the ground, God formed man and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. All through life, generation after generation have been taught, and still are taught, that man is created in God’s image, bearing the life of God, His creator, and His image. Since God created man in His likeness and image, and His very breath gave life to humanity, this is all right and proven perfect truth.
In teaching of man’s earthly component, the theological entity has always been man created from the ground, and to it will they return, for we were born with empty hands, grasping for something, and die with empty hands open and will hold nothing. Again, the truth but leaving out the fact that the chemical makeup of the human body and that of the earth is none and the same.
Our Bible scholars don’t want to state that because of a lack of biblical facts, but if God is who we declare Him to be, and He is, that means we don’t need facts, just the fact that God says so, and surely the Bible says that God said and did so. It took an ungodly scientist who set out to prove that that Bible fact was a lie, and theologians knew it; that’s why they won’t touch it. But instead, he found it to be true, which led him to believe that not only does man bear the image of God, but he is an eternal being like unto his creator, and only the body dies, the reason God, the creator of man, says so. The color of your skin doesn’t say anything; all mankind and women too are made from the same thing.
