Isaiah said, “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. He is high and exalted.” It took the death of the king for the prophet to realize who God is and to draw near so that God can reveal Himself to the prophet. Many today only turn to God after the death of a loved one. God is always showing forth His love towards us, but so often it takes dramatic circumstances for us to turn to Him. What did it take for you to turn to Him, or are you like Isaiah? What will it take for you to realize how great God is and turn to Him with a whole heart, trusting Him with your whole life? There is nothing too small, too large, or too great for God to do for you. When you get to the place where God is all you have, you will find He is all you need.
