Many often wonder, ‘How can a good God allow all that is happening in the world?’ Indeed, God is not only good but also a loving Father. He grants us the freedom of choice and respects that gift unconditionally. As earthly fathers, we try to guide our children when they stray. Yet, they must face the consequences of their decisions. In love, we walk with them through tough times. When they choose to ignore the right path, we stand by, hoping they will change. Sadly, some decide to sever ties, avoiding any interaction with their fathers.
In a similar way, many people treat God. Despite His power and willingness to intervene, God waits for us to seek Him. Often, we are the ones who walk away. Yet, God remains loving and ready to assist. But does the world desire to exchange its weapons for peace? When pondering why a loving God allows certain events, consider whether we truly want God involved in our lives, especially in our decision-making processes, especially when we are up to no good. Remember, God is the epitome of goodness, and only good can emanate from Him.
This is today’s Crosspoint. Have a blessed week.
