Pilate said to the high priest and the Jewish leaders that he found no fault in Jesus, declaring Him not guilty of the accusations. Yet, he crucified Him to appease them, complying with their customs. That’s how it happened, and how Jesus met His death on the cross. But at the same time, there was a spiritual process at work.
Jesus, declared without fault, died in the place of us with many faults. His rejection and death serve as a constant reminder of the goodness of God and His love for us. His love and care are immeasurable, spanning from generation to generation without failing.
God loves you and cares about you. Even when you feel that no one cares, rest assured, God cares and values you far more than you think. You are important to God, important enough for Jesus to come and die for you.
