How great and wonderful are the grace and mercies of God. Take a moment to consider the lives of some of the most significant figures in the Bible. King David, the greatest king to walk the earth, was an adulterer and murderer. Moses, the greatest leader, was a murderer. The great prophet Elijah once called down fire from heaven, consuming a hundred soldiers. James and John struggled with anger, and Peter held strong prejudices against certain groups, refusing to associate with them. And then, there’s the apostle Paul, who had a dark past as a judge, jury, executioner, and even a serial killer.
Yet, God gave these men His mercy, and as if that wasn’t enough, He bestowed His grace upon them, transforming their lives. They became righteous examples for their generations and for us today, illustrating how amazing God’s grace truly is. God forgave these men and turned their lives around, and He will do the same for you. Why? Because He is the wise and loving God who never changes. All you have to do is ask.
